Week 12
Great to be back in Cornwall! I got on my bike for the first time in a month. I creaked as I swung my leg over the frame. It’s been a while I thought to myself. I completed my usual 17km ride and started to strength building exercises. I also had my first Pilates session with Zela. It was really helpful and I enjoyed learning about some new exercises. As you can see I was doing a lot! Unfortunately, I had a really bad reaction in my hip and suffered the worst pain I’ve experienced in my hip. I was struggling to sleep and sit comfortably. I’d done too much. I think the strength building exercises had caused the pain as they were very difficult. I decided to rest for the weekend and take it easy. Let’s hope it improves next week as I need to get training!
